For a correction, tell us the exact sentence and the source that shows what it should say — that is the fastest route to a fix.

Reporting a correction

We publish corrections on the page that was wrong, with the date and what changed. To make that possible, please include:

  1. The URL and the specific claim.
  2. What the correct information is.
  3. A source we can verify — ideally a primary one: an ordinance, a staff report, an official dataset, a court record.

If a claim in a debate argument is wrong, the fastest route is the Request Fact Check button on the argument itself. It puts the item in the moderation queue with your reason attached and produces a public result on the argument.

Moderation appeals

Write from the email address on the account, include the link to the removed item and a short explanation. Appeals are reviewed by a moderator who was not involved in the original decision. Media enquiries

We can speak about local government participation, public meeting access, petition and initiative processes, and the design of structured online debate. We do not comment on the merits of individual candidates or ballot measures. Logos and boilerplate are on the press page.

Security and vulnerabilities

If you believe you have found a security issue, write to [email protected] with the details and please give us a reasonable window to fix it before publishing. We do not pursue researchers who act in good faith.
